The
Velocitimage® production-ready prototypes were development
tested in high-profile retail mall locations for 14 months. In one
Westfield mall in
Chatswood, Australia, during a period of 14 weeks one
stand-alone on-demand kiosk (that requires no outside
assistance) averaged 1,000 prints per day, with a best
day of 4,200 prints – previously unheard of industry print
numbers.
During
this retail testing, kiosks ran between 30-60 average prints
per customer in various locations (existing on-demand kiosks in
Australian average 15 prints per customer).
