Why
to Print at Digital Kiosks and not at Home?
Read the
Editorial in Australia's leading digital photography magazine digital
photography+design as the author encourages readers to read
their "How To" tutorials and other advice provided by the magazine
(April/May 2006):
"Most images captured
with a digital camera can be noticeably improved with a little
fine-tuning in Photoshop. In many cases a small boost in
contrast, a dash of creative dodging, and some judicious sharpening
is all you need to make a good photo leap off the
page.
That all sounds fine in
theory, but what if you're just starting out in digital imaging?
Tweaking tone, boosting saturation, dodging and burning: some of
these tasks are not quite as straightforward as they
seem".
He goes
on to explain the pitfalls, and finishes with this:
"The point I'm making is
that imaging software can be a great asset, but also it can result
in hours of blue-faced frustration if you do not know what you
are doing."
That is
where digital print kiosks come in, and especially the pxidigital®
kiosk with its proprietary and leading in-built image
enhancement software.
Developed
over many years at a cost of over $20 million it comes instantly at
the touch of a screen to deliver in seconds the expertise of a
Photoshop Master, and beyond, without any blue-faced
frustration and delivering instant
gratification®. Back
